Welcome to the website dedicated to the celebration of the life and work of Martin Wolk, the British artist who as a founding member of the Protest Painters movement consistently challenged the public perception of what art should be.

Within these pages we hope to bring Wolk's work to a wider audience, to give it the recognition it deserves, and to also go some way to installing Martin Wolk firmly on the vacant plinth reserved for him in the pantheon of the World's Great Artists.
